10 Years of qNMR Summits

– qNMR Symposium 2026 hosted by Spectral Service AG

25–27 June 2026 · Cologne, Germany

In summer 2016, the first qNMR Summit was held at Spectral Service AG in Cologne. Over the past decade, this meeting series has developed into an international forum for experts in quantitative NMR, with subsequent conferences in Rockville (MD), Würzburg, Tokyo, Berlin, Chicago, Santiago de Compostela, Buchs, Halifax and Bari.

To celebrate the 10-year anniversary, we warmly invite you back to Cologne for a special symposium hosted by Spectral Service AG.

The meeting will bring together experts from academia, industry and regulatory institutions to discuss the current role of qNMR in analytical practice, including developments in pharmaceutical analytics, regulatory perspectives and the practical implementation of qNMR methods.

The scientific program will include approx. 15 presentations (30 min talk + 15 min discussion), a keynote lecture and a panel discussion. Networking opportunities include a social mixer on Thursday evening and a Barbecue Dinner with Live Music on Friday evening.

Participation is limited to 40-50 attendees. Registration is limited to guests who have received a personal invitation from us.

Travel Information

By Air

The nearest airport is Cologne Bonn Airport (CGN), located approximately 15–20 minutes by car from the venue. Furthermore, Düsseldorf Airport (DUS) and Frankfurt Airport (FRA) are both about 1h train ride from cologne main station.

By Train

Cologne is well connected via high-speed rail (ICE) from major German and European cities. The main station is Köln Hauptbahnhof.

By Public Transport

The venue can be reached easily via public transport or taxi from both the airport and the main train station. The tram line 16 (final stop “Bonn Bad-Godesberg”) connects the city center/main station with Spectral Service (exit stop “Sürth”). It usually runs every 10min. From Sürth station the venue is about 12min walk.

By Car

a) From Cologne, all directions via the Cologne motorway ring road

Drive to the Cologne-South motorway junction, change to the A555 towards Bonn; leave the motorway at exit no. 3 (Köln-Rodenkirchen), then turn right into Kiesgrubenweg. After approx. 1.3 km (3rd traffic light), you will cross Emil-Hoffmann-Straße. Turn right (dead end). After 25 m, you will find the entrance to Spectral Service on the left; parking spaces are available.

b) From Bonn via the A555

Leave the highway at the Köln-Rodenkirchen exit (No. 3), then turn right onto Bonner Landstraße. At the next traffic light, turn left onto Kiesgrubenweg. After 1.2 km (2nd traffic light), turn right onto Emil-Hoffmann-Straße (dead end) and immediately left into the driveway to Spectral Service. Parking spaces are available.
