Why Do We Blog Science?

Everybody is talking about blogs and wondering where the name blog comes from. Blog is the abbreviation for weblog, an online diary. Presented topics and areas are as diverse as the mankind is. The importance for companies, management, employees, for you and me is quite different. But why do we, as a company, decide to blog? Our blog gives you and also ourselves the unique opportunity for a new way of discovering our company, explaining our philosophy, presenting our work. Our aim is to take up contact with you, with customers, scientists, students and interested parties to increase the connection, the knowledge and the enthusiasm for science.

What Is A Blog? Blog [blawg, blog] noun. a website containing a writer’s or group of writers‘ own experiences, observations, opinions, etc., and often having images and links to other websites; a single entry or post on such a website: She regularly contributes a blog to the magazine’s website; verb (used without object), blogged, blogging; to maintain or add new entries to a blog. verb (used with object), blogged, blogging; to express or write about on a blog.

Our blog will contain a collection of analytic methods, developed by Spectral Service, as well as our latest news, current issues facing industry and society such as food scandals, congress and meeting dates, research projects and our service.
